The Lift: The Seceda cable car is a two-stage journey that transports you from the town of Ortisei to the breathtaking 2,500-meter summit. The first section is a modern gondola to the Furnes mid-station, followed by a large cable car for the final dramatic ascent. From the top, you are greeted with one of the most famous panoramic views in the Dolomites, looking out towards the jagged Fermeda Towers and across to the Sella massif and Marmolada.

Winter: In winter, Seceda is a sun-drenched ski area offering runs for all levels. Its most famous descent is 'La Longia', a spectacular 10.5 km run that takes you from the summit all the way back to Ortisei. While not directly on the main Sellaronda circuit, you can connect to it by skiing the run towards Santa Cristina and then linking up with the Col Raiser lifts, providing access to the wider Dolomiti Superski network.

Summer: During the summer, Seceda is a paradise for hikers, photographers, and nature lovers. The summit is the starting point for countless trails into the Puez-Odle Nature Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Mountain bike transport is available, making it a popular launch point for thrilling downhill rides back to the valley.
