The Lift
The Sasso Levante is a modern, high-speed 6-person chairlift connecting the Passo Sella area back towards the Val Gardena valley. It replaced an older, notoriously slow and cold lift, offering a quick 4-minute ride with spectacular views of the Sassolungo group. Its speed is crucial for skiers completing the Sellaronda circuit before the lifts close.
Winter
This lift is an essential component of the counter-clockwise (green) Sellaronda. From its summit, skiers descend the blue Sasso Levante run or the red Martinelli piste into the Plan de Gralba basin, continuing their journey into Val Gardena.
