Winter: The lift does not operate in winter. The descent is a famous but ungroomed and challenging ski mountaineering route only for experts with appropriate gear and knowledge.
Summer: A must-do for hikers and sightseers, the gondola provides direct access to the Toni Demetz refuge at the summit. From here, numerous high-alpine hiking trails begin, including the popular descent through the Sassolungo cirque to the Rifugio Vicenza. It's a gateway to some of the most spectacular hiking in the Dolomites.
