The Lift: The Piz Sella is a large and modern reversible cable car that swiftly transports up to 100 passengers at a time from the Plan de Gralba basin to the Piz Sella summit. In just three minutes, it covers a vertical rise of nearly 450 meters, offering magnificent views of the Sassolungo and Sella massifs. Its speed and capacity make it a vital link in the ski area.

Winter: The Piz Sella is an essential component of the Sellaronda, particularly for those on the green (counter-clockwise) circuit heading towards Val di Fassa. From its summit, skiers can access the iconic 'Città dei Sassi' (City of Stones) area with its gentle, scenic slopes, or challenge themselves on demanding black runs like the 'Paprika' and 'Piz Sella 5'. The famous Comici Hut, known for its seafood, is also accessed from the top.

Summer: The Piz Sella cable car is not operational during the summer season. While the area offers extensive hiking, access to the Piz Sella summit from Plan de Gralba must be done on foot or via other lifts that are open in the summer.
