The Lift: The Val chairlift is a classic two-seater that serves a crucial role for skiers navigating the vast Dolomiti Superski area. While not a primary ascent lift, its function is essential, connecting the lower part of the Vallunga area back up to the main Dantercepies system. Its short ride provides a moment of calm with lovely views of the tranquil Vallunga valley.

Winter: This lift is a mandatory component of the Sellaronda Green (counter-clockwise) tour. After skiing down from the main Dantercepies gondola, skiers take the Val chairlift to connect to the Costabella lift, allowing them to continue their circuit towards the Gardena Pass. It primarily serves the final section of the famous black 'Cir' slope.

Summer: The Val chairlift does not operate during the summer season. The Vallunga area at its base remains a popular starting point for peaceful walks and hikes.
